Challenge

The existing customer and courier apps were difficult to use. Long flows, unnecessary steps and confusing navigation made core delivery tasks hard to complete.

What I did

Redesigned the customer and courier apps twice, across two separate engagements. Designed Senpex’s website and in-house logistics landing page, admin and CRM interfaces, and a unified design system. The work also covered vehicle graphics, social media assets, banners and business cards.

Impact

The first redesign made both apps usable for day-to-day delivery tasks. Several years later, Senpex commissioned a second redesign, extending the collaboration into another stage of the products’ development.

01

Context

Senpex is a US last-mile delivery platform connecting customers with couriers. I joined to redesign its existing customer and courier apps, simplifying how people booked deliveries and how couriers managed their work. Several years later, Senpex invited me back to redesign both apps again.

02

The problem

Senpex’s customer and courier apps were already built, but long flows, unnecessary steps and confusing navigation made everyday tasks difficult to complete. The first challenge was to rethink how customers booked deliveries and how couriers managed their work. The scope later expanded across customer-facing websites, an in-house logistics landing page, admin and CRM interfaces, and brand communications. These different experiences needed a shared design foundation that could bring consistency to the platform while supporting the distinct needs of each service and audience.

Constraints

  • Existing apps with long, confusing flows
  • Different workflows for customers, couriers and admins
  • Multiple logistics services within one platform
  • A shared design system across mobile and web
  • Consistency across product and brand materials
